All three photos are of a momma malard and her 10 little ones. They were on the parking lot of Valley River Center when I spotted them and were moving as fast as they could toward the river. They had a long way to go (for little duckling legs) but momma would not allow me to get close enough to pick up any of her brood. I played crossing guard untill they were safely out of harm's way. The second photo is of a curb that proved to be too much of an obstacle, so I helped just a little by boosting them up to the sidewalk. The third photo shows the family happy in their new home.
