calico racoon

I sit on my porch in the morning, in west eugene and watch the little animals. I am curious if anyboby has seen a racoon of this color, I think it is pretty neat!

I live out in Bethel Danabo area and three raccoons (liter mates?) came to my porch a few times this winter, one of which was of this coloring (a little darker). I've lived in OR all my life and have never seen one of this coloring before!

I lived behind New Frontier Market 5 years ago--there was a racoon duo that would hang out. One had normal markings, the other with markings like yours. I am back in the hood now, so maybe I will see it again! C

I've spent a lot of time hunting raccoons with hound dogs in this area. I've "seen" several that were similar in color and a couple that were almost albino.

3 summers ago we lived on Langton Ave. in west Eugene...we had a litter of 3 babies that came to drink from water on our deck and 1 of the babies was marked exactly like your raccoon. It was the first one I had seen with the lighter markings...

I live in East Springfield and there's a mother raccoon that lives in the field behind me with even lighter fur! She's blond and has 3 normal markings.

We have one of these guys in our neighborhood downtown. I saw it out of the corner of my eye and thought it was an orange cat at first. But to my surprise, with a double take, I realized I was looking at a raccoon.

Yes! Finally, a picture. I told my wife that I saw a golden-colored raccoon, and I could never get her to believe me! Thanks for posting this. I am now off the hook!!!
