Local Photographer Robert DuBois likes to wander Oregon's roads and trails looking for images that really stand out. During a recent trip for his birthday, he took some images with his digital camera in the mountains near Cottage Grove at 5,000 feet. Another shot he took was of a large tadpole surfacing for air. The coastal shots were taken on Highway 101 at Florence "Heceta" and GoldBeach Oregon. The sunset was taken during late May and the Stormy light was taken in July. The Stormy shot worked out because the light coming through the clouds was bright enough to cause the light meter to adjust lighting to minimal creating a night effect. If you look very close at the sunset image, that jagged edge on the rocks is actually Birds.
