On Saturday, September 5th at approximately 5:30 pm three kayaks attempted to head over the bar in Bandon, Oregon. One was smashed against the North Jetty rocks and people were able to crawl out. Two others were dumped out of their kayaks and were in the water. A surfer went out and floated with them for approximately 30 minutes until the coast guard came and plucked them from the waves.
