My boyfriend Al and I spent two nights and two days camping and hiking in the Three Sisters Wilderness area over this Labor Day weekend. Rain fell most of the day on Saturday and we were surprised on Sunday morning to awake to snowfall. Soaking wet, we packed up camp and headed out for our last hike of the trip, up to Tam McArthur Rim. 2.5 mlies and 1,200 vertical feet later we reached the top through a mix of whiping wind, rain, hail, and snow! Even though we were wet and cold, the brief opening of sunshine rewarded us with quite the "kodak moment!"
