Yesterday, 10/1/09, at 12:25pm I was driving down Hilyard toward 30th and I noticed something in the sky just above Spencer Butte. It was very bright and large and wasn't visibly moving. it had no blinking lights and after a few second I decided it really looked like a comet. I took a few pictures and I was hoping if you could tell me if it was a comet. Please contact me if you use the story. Thanks

Unfortunatly you have caught a nice photo of a jetliner flying south away from you at some distance so it appears not to be moving. A comet would be pointing twoard the sun and are very rarely visible durring daylight hours.
