Half a turkey breast (can still be partly frozen) rice and broth or water to process . frozen peas, thinly sliced carrots, any seasonings you like (poulty kind) Set on high. Golf for 2 hrs and dish up the goodies. This is really good.

I have a crockpot and read that for each second that the lid was raised to stir or (show us the contents over the tv) you lost from 30 minutes up to get the contents to the same cooking temp. Is it any different now that they are called slow cookers.
