This was my grandmother. She was a beautiful person inside and out. I will be arriving to help my father Tom Spalinger through this very difficult time. My priors are with both our families.

an accident caused by reckless driving by the police officer. With that HUGE of a stretch of Hiway 58, there is no need other than to feed an ego to drive 75 plus miles an hour thru an intersection.. EVER. This kind of driving should be punished.

My heart goes out to all involved, but have to say "Grandmother" was to old to be driving and making good judgements in this type of situation. Officer Miller is young and hopefully has a long and wonderul life ahead of him as "Grandmother" did.

And who says the grandmother was to old to drive? DMV did not think so when they renewed her liciense this past year. Just because a person is old does not mean that they aren't capable of driving. The oakridge cop once again--chase ends in tradgedy.

The Oakridge chief of Police won't talk about the police conduct when it comes to chases in Oakridge. That will be brought to the table soon---or more than likely swept under the carpet as usual. Who does the police dept work for people of Oakridge.
