Working across Oregon and the nation, The Telling Project is bringing military veterans, their family members and their stories to the stage. With productions in Eugene and Portland in the last two years, and current projects in a half-dozen locations around the country, The Telling Project pursues the notion that, having served their countries, veterans have earned the right to have their voices heard. "It's Time to Speak," conveys the breadth of individuals and experience that make up the American military. In November of this year, The Telling Project will be bringing a cast comprised of veterans and family from the Eugene and Portland performances to Washington, DC to perform on Veterans Day at George Washington University.
