Springfield soldier returns from Iraq!

My husband SPC Nathan Swiderski, part of the 172nd Infantry Brigade, returned to our duty station in Schweinfurt Germany today from a year long deployment to Iraq. He will return back to Springfield in Dec to see his son Ethan which will be about 6 months old. My husband was on his way home for Iraq in June for the birth of our son, when I went into labor. He was suppose to be here 3 days before birth but I went into labor early and unfortunately he missed the birth by 5 hours! As one of the pictures shows him holding his son for the first time during his leave while serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom. We will be returning back to Germany in Jan. I am very excited and blessed to have my husband home from a successful deployment!
