My name is Tyra and I took this picture in Oakland Oregon, of this Wigwam. I dont think it will be here much longer, so wanted to snap this shot before it falls down or gets torn down. I was told that they're pretty rare, and as old as it is' Its still beautiful!

This is not a wigwam .. but an old burner from the lumber mill that was located there years ago. I agree, it is unique and rare to see one. Most were removed years ago thoughout state of Oregon. This is on private property and remains until it falls.

Linda is right but only partly I think she has not lived in Oregon very long or she would know that it is a wigwam... these burners were all called wigwam burners but I guess only an old timer llike me would know that....
