and your point is? Not all food stamps are gotten by all people, now having said that.. they do get money on the first and that may be why you see alot of people shopping there due to there reduced prices on certain things such as diapers. PERIOD!!!

People spending food stamps on food, that's unheard of!! Times are tough, a lot of hard working people that are jobless due to the economy. Not sure what your objective was here, I liked your view on the mayor's speech, but you missed with this one.

FYI...not everyone who is on food stamps gets their allocation at the same time. Hmm! But let me see...as I recall, people also get paychecks at the 1st of the month. If your point is stores are busy at the 1st of mo., it's been known a LONG time

This is what WinCo is always like regardless of which day of the month, they're busy. They have good prices and selection.

Actually, food stamps are distributed according to the last digit of the recipients SSN#. I receive mine on the 8th. This month, I had to do extra paper work and didn't receive them until the 17th. People get food stamps everyday of the month.

Also, Aaron, it's "there" and not "their" that you meant above. Perhaps you should observe yourself and not everyone else's business. My son's kindergarten teacher is always having to remind him of that, too!
