If all those sea lions and seals aren't of local population I wonder if they are part of California's missing ones? Oregon has a longer history than Aaron seems to think. I was born in Florence 51 years ago and love our state also.

I love the oregon coast! This was truly one of the good days...the wind was not blowing him over! Living in Eugene gives me the pleasure of the coast one hour away any day I want. Come and visit but please respect the natural beauty and don't litter.

This truly IS the jewel of the Coast. To live in Florence is a priviledge. We do tours of the Hecetal Keeper's House in the summer. Come and see! It's amazing!
