Dana Reason is a leading figure in the new generation of pianists who are equally comfortable on both the jazz and classical concert stages. New Yorker Dominic Duval is one of the finest and most prolific bassists on the contemporary scene, having played and recorded with some of the greatest names in jazz and new music. Duval's recent tenure with pianist Cecil Taylor has cemented his reputation as one of jazz's most important figures. Dominic can be heard on more than 50 recordings and has been featured in every major jazz magazine worldwide along with regular appearances in all the annual major jazz publications' Critics and Readers Polls. Tim DuRoche is a jazz drummer-composer, writer, and conceptual artist living in Portland, Oregon. DuRoche has created original scores for a number of NW dance artists, including Tere Mathern Dance, Oslund+Co. BodyVox, Cydney Wilkes, and Linda K. Johnson and has worked extensively with array of US and European avant-garde jazz innovators, including Paul Plimley-Lisle Ellis, Wally Shoup, Bert Wilson, John Sinclair, Perry Robinson, Mark Whitecage, Phillip Greenlief, Jack Wright, Toshi Makihara, Gust Burns, Alan Tomlinson, Frank Gratkowski, Gordon Lee, Doug Theriault, Torsten Müller, and Damon Smith, among others.
