On a Saturday afternoon drive on January 22, 2010, my husband and I spotted at least 17 Eagles around the Willamette Valley. Every year in late January and early February, we take our camera and binoculars and drive around the valley looking for these beautiful birds. We have spotted as few as 5 and as many as 24 in one day. We often see Golden Eagles as well.
