Protesters gathered at the corner of Gateway and Beltline on Monday, March 22, 2010 to protest a proposal to spend $250,000 in state transportation money to rename the Beltline Highway.
Protesters argued that it was very wasteful to spend money on such a matter, in light of how bad off the state is financially, and how badly local roads needs transportation funds for repairs.

Enough frivolous spending! Enough re-naming streets! The Governor can spend his own money if he wishes...name a fountain or something; but PLEASE stop spending in the name of the people(we ARE the people that DO NOT WANT THIS!)!
