The Sujameco Ship ran aground in 1929. It sat on the beach until World War II. The ship was removed down to water level and the metal recycled for the war. Every winter portions of the ship get exposed due to the ocean removing sand...but this year the entire length of the ship is visible. A great thing to go see while the ocean has let us.
