A huge crush of citizens from the Eugene/Springfield area and beyond were out in force on April 15, 2010 at the location of the old Federal Courthouse in downtown Eugene. People mainly demonstrated against proposed new tax increases, and runaway deficit spending at the Federal level.
In the second photo in this set, we see one protester dressed up as the "Jabba the Hut" character from the Star Wars movie, with a sign indicating that he is "Glutton Government".
