I set up earlier in the evening, when taking images of the moon just after it's rising, so I was ready to go. IN succession, the images show the Sun's shadow dipping into the moon from its top side, then crossing over and down passing through the Moon's right side leaving a nice crescent. At one point the camera captured the beginnings of a star and ring effect which happens with a total eclipse.
