July 10, 2010. 40 teens from the Northwest Youth Corps Teens-N-Trails program come home to graduate after living and working in the woods for 4-weeks.
The Teens-N-Trails crew members ages range from 14-15. Many of the crew members are from the Eugene area; while others come from across the state of Idaho, Oregon, and even a few nationally.
Not only will they have received a paycheck, received high school credit, but they will also have gained a sense of appreciation for public lands for today and for years to come.
