One morning last week, my neighbor's cat was hissing at something in the bushes. We went a little closer to investigate and a huge raccoon came running out! He climbed up into one tree, then jumped over to the other tree, where he found a hollow that the squirrels had moved into. He slept in there all day. Around 5:00, I was doing some yard work and he peaked out; just his little face, then his front paws as well. He finally came all the way out and went on his way.
