While taking pictures of Lake Billy Chinook, I was able to get these shots of lightning (safely, of course).

I had my digital camera's ISO set at 200 and I was taking 30 second exposures. I pointed the camera to an active place in the sky several miles away and then I cropped the picture to get this bolt of lightning. It took several tries but I got lucky.
