Wild Turkeys Visit Roseburg Residence

I was startled to see a family of wild turkeys strutting around in my yard early this morning. Even my outdoor cat was surprised at the sight!There were 2 adults and 9 juveniles. They stayed for a few minutes before they flew up on my neighbor's garage roof. I've seen the turkeys come down from the woods/hills just beside us here on Sweetbrier Avenue before, but they've never come into the yard before. They fly pretty darn good for short distances.
