Getting a band off the ground is no easy task. Just ask the members of local alternative progressive rock band Family Dynamic. My good friend Christian and his band are seeking the help of the local community to kick-start what is sure to be a wonderful career for 4 young aspiring and talented artists. I met Christian over a year ago and his bands music is positive, uplifting, and just what the area needs and expects from a variety of great artists. They have started a fund on kickstarter.com and can be found at this link http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/familydynamic/family-dynamic-debut-demo?ref=live You can donate as little as a dollar and every one of those are greatly appreciated. They are known well on our campus at Northwest Christian University...now lets help them be known around the country. Thanks for all of your help in advance.

Curtis Haley, a 2006 Willamette High School graduate, age 25, has brain cancer. Shortly after the brain mass was discovered surgery was performed to remove what they could of the mass. Now he is undergoing massive chemotherapy and radiation.
He is fortunate to have medical insurance, however as most of you know, insurance will not cover everything. Curtis will be thousands of dollars in debt when this is all over.
Curtis has a wonderful, positive outlook about all that he is going through, he’s amazing.
Please consider helping Curtis by attending a Pappy’s Pizza Fundraiser, Tuesday April 16, Barger Drive, Eugene, OR. You will need a flyer, email mama_sue51@hotmail.com, to have one emailed to you. Or you may donate to the medical fund at Umpqua Bank.

Bigfoot Says UNCLE

http://www.kval.com/younews/193919451.html

Who: Bigfoot - for over fifty years the hairy guy has been ducking, dodging and otherwise hiding from traffic. For fifteen years wheelchair bound Ray Crowe has been sleuthing the sasquatch via the Track Record, the most comprehensive catalog of North American Great Ape sightings during the nineties (Moneypenny has the biggest website now) and Crowe's Western Bigfoot Society meetings.
What: Western Bigfoot Society meeting is Saturday March 9th where you can hear the most gripping tales of the most recent sighting directly from those who sighted the hairy bigfoots, gnomes or what-not, and you can decide, skeptical or otherwise what you think they saw.
Where: Patti's Homeplate Deli in Portland, Oregon (see address below) the St. John's Bridge is right there near Patti's so bring your camera. St. John's Bridge is the only suspension bridge north of Golden Gate until you get to Vanc. BC.
When: March 9th - Here's all your data as published by Ray Crowe:

The Western Bigfoot Society will have a monthly meeting March 9th, 2013...the second Saturday of the month.
Meeting place will be at the Home Plate Cafe, 8501 North Lombard, Oregon, 97203. 503-285-5507, cell 503-757-3132, owner and host Patty Deitz. Lombard is off I-5 almost before reaching Vancouver, WA, from Portland, then 4 miles west. Meeting time is 6 pm for socializing (and Patty appreciates it if you order something to eat). The speaker at 7 and close at 9.
 No admission or other charge.
The guest speaker will be Steve Knutson, SssKnutson@aol.com. Steve explores caves and has some interesting observations concerning our favorite topic. Steve has explored caves across North America and in Central and South America, where he has had some unexpected experiences. Steve also authored a book concerning the OregonCaves. Recall Dr. Matt Johnson had some Bigfoot experiences near the caves that he spoke of at WBS seminars.
Ray Crowe, raycrowe@netzero.com

Why: Bigfoot will say UNCLE one of these days and then you'll be part o' the crowd that knew for certain them hairy beasts was out there, roaming the woods and mountains just behind the bushes every time you were out there!!
